Today at HC-One’s Callands care home, in Cheshire, Residents immersed themselves in activities to celebrate World Dignity Day.
Colleagues Sam and Caitlin organised the day for the Residents which involved chatted to them and asking them how they feel that dignity and wellbeing should be promoted at the home.
Residents then had their thoughts wrote down on cards and held them up for a photograph (pictured).
Sam and Caitlin said, “We had lots of positive chats, comments and feedback. It was an absolutely fantastic activity - The Residents really enjoyed it.”
In particular Residents enjoyed the inclusion and positivity, one said, “We really enjoyed it, thank you.”
Lesley Nosworthy, Home Manager, commented, “It was lovely to see Residents smiling and getting involved in such a brilliant activity.”
