It’s been a busy October at HC-One’s
the Westbury residential and nursing care home, in Wiltshire, as two Residents have been celebrating their birthdays.
On 14th October, Alfreda (pictured right) enjoyed her birthday celebrations with her family in the garden. It was a lovely day and the sun was shining.
Alfreda and her family said what a lovely day to celebrate a birthday. One of Alfreda’s Relatives said, “Thank you for a lovely afternoon and celebrating her birthday in such beautiful gardens.”
Alfreda added, “Thank you for a lovely afternoon and a special birthday.”
Jacqui, Activities Coordinator., commented, “It was so nice seeing Alfreda in the garden with her family.”
On 25th October, another Resident Roger turned 95.
Fellow Residents joined to celebrate Roger’s birthday. There was a sing along, lots of games and dancing and so much fun as well as a birthday cake, buffet and a tipple too!
Roger said, “Thank you, I feel overwhelmed and really enjoyed the afternoon.”
Jacqui added, “What a wonderful afternoon enjoyed by all and bringing so much fun and laughter to all. We certainly helped to make Roger feel special on his birthday.”
