Drab to fab at Sutton-In-Ashfield care homeColleagues at Stoneyford care home, in Nottinghamshire, have been wanting to re-decorate the dining room for a while, but with it being a very busy area it's a tricky task.

Everyone was determined to get it finished for Christmas. With a little help from Maintenance Operative Martin Howarth, pictured with Resident Keith Box, the dining room was transformed into a beautiful space for everyone to enjoy.

All the Colleagues and Residents have commented on how nice it looks. The Wallpaper was the finishing touch, bringing everything together. It is now a lovely tranquil area; perfect for enjoying meals in.

One of the Residents said, “It looks really lovely. I can't believe how different it looks. It's seems much brighter and lighter now.”

Home Manager, Keeley Morris, remarked, “With the dining experience being so important, it's lovely to have this tranquil atmosphere, with calming greens and leaves.”

“We still have plans for some notice boards and perhaps new cupboards, but will wait till the New Year now!”
