Today at
Yew Trees residential memory care home, in Greater Manchester, Residents and Colleagues got into the spirit of all things cat to celebrate World Cat Day,
The home has their own cat, Bonnie (pictured) and she has been the centre of attention throughout the day as Residents watched the film ‘Cats and Dogs’ to mark the occasion.
This afternoon the theme continued further with Residents doing cat related puzzles, dot to dot, spot the difference, reading poems, and drawing faces on cat templates.
The afternoon was enhanced by a kind tea donation from Colette at the local Asda store, a huge thanks to them for their continued support.
Lynda Bulley, Wellbeing Coordinator, said, “Everyone loved the cats and the afternoon tea, what a lovely day!”
