Residents at HC-One’s The Gables care home just outside of Peterborough, enjoyed an Easter ‘Fun-day’ full of activity and chocolates.
Each Resident received a hand-knitted chicken, containing a chocolate egg. They then decorated biscuits, painted and coloured in pictures of eggs and others Easter themes pieces of art and explored new life growing in the garden.
“Aww how lovely the new flowers are, I love it,” said Resident Ruby.
All Residents and staff were involved in the day, making sure there was something to do for everyone. Towards the end of the day, Residents enjoyed an Easter egg hunt and a raffle.
The Gables Home Manager Helen Walters, said: “We have had a fabulous fun-filled day today which was enjoyed by all.”
