Egg-citing Easter fun at Sunderland care homeResidents at HC-One’s Falstone Court care home in Roker, Sunderland enjoyed some fun-filled Easter baking as well as arts and crafts.

Everyone dawned their chef whites to make some delicious chocolate Easter cakes, Residents chatted as they prepared the cake mixture, sharing stories of their favourite Easter traditions.

Later everyone enjoyed some hardboiled egg decorating, while some Residents opted for the more traditional Easter designs, others went more creative and even made a beach themed egg to represent Roker beach.

A great time was had by all, with Residents agreeing that the highlight of the day was getting to eat their delicious Easter cakes.

Falstone Court Home Manager, Julie Merritt said: “I am pleased that our Residents enjoyed their Easter activities, everyone’s eggs looked beautiful.”

Located on Cliffe Park, Falstone Court care home offers short and long term care packages for older ladies and gentlemen that require residential care, nursing care and memory care, for those living with dementia.

The home also boasts an overall ‘Outstanding’ rating from the Care Quality Commission, last inspected in November 2020.
