Valarie joined
Fir Trees residential and residential memory care home, in Dukinfield, a couple of months ago as a Resident but Colleagues recently found out that she worked there, many years ago and she loved it.
It was her wish to come to Fir Trees as a Resident and today, she went for a walk with Karolina, Wellbeing Coordinator, and they stopped off at Morrison’s café for some lunch and a good old chat!
Valarie had a lovely time, she said she felt alive and also showed Karolina the route she used to come to Fir Trees.
Valarie thoroughly enjoyed her lunch with and said, “It was so nice to get out and feel a bit of normality.”
Karolina added, “Listening to Valarie recall her time working at Fir trees was great to hear.”
