Fun and games at Wigston care homeResidents are enjoying a day of fun as they try out new games at HC-One’s Cedar Court care home in Wigston, Leicestershire.

They tried out a new ball game invented by home Colleagues, Olivia Haslam and Kerry Ball, and then took part in a game of skill and wits where they had to place their hands inside a box and guess what item was inside just by feeling it.

Residents were having so much fun playing the new games that they didn’t even realise the amount of exercise they were doing.

Cedar Court Home Manager, Louise McQuone, said: “I watched as the Residents placed their hands inside the boxes. Even I wouldn’t do that for fear of a spider running out but the Residents absolutely loved it and kept trying to scare each other.”
