Fun with snow at Nottingham care homeResidents enjoyed playing with snow and even throwing snowballs at Colleagues today at HC-One’s Alexandra care home in Long Eaton, Nottinghamshire.

Upon seeing the heavy snowfall, some Residents talked about how they hadn’t been out in snow for a long time.

Without missing a beat, Colleagues at the home braved the cold to scoop snow into containers to bring inside for Residents to enjoy in the warm.

The snow brought out a bit of mischief in one Resident in particular as Paul Price made snowballs ready to pelt at an unsuspecting Sharon Meeds, the Deputy Home Manager.

Sharon commented: “An amazing time had by all. It was worth every second of the clean up to see the joy on their faces.”

The snow brought delight and happiness to everyone in the home and certainly cheered the home up for the rest of the day.
