Green-fingered Residents at HC-One’s Stoneleigh care home in Stanley have been enjoying lots of gardening throughout May.
With the help of Wellbeing Coordinator, Tracy, Residents have enjoyed some time in the garden planting seeds and flowers for the summer. When the weather hasn’t been good enough Residents have still enjoyed planting and tending to their saplings inside.
One Resident commented: “I love being in the garden, I am ready for the warmer weather.”
Stoneleigh Home Manger, Susan Dodds said: “I am pleased that our Residents are enjoying some gardening, the flowers are beautiful.”
