The wellbeing team at
Amerind Grove care home, which offers nursing care, as well as nursing memory and residential memory care for those living with dementia, have been working with one of the Residents in keeping the gardens tidy.
Chris, who lives at the home, is a garden champion who enjoys the tasks to be done in the garden. Other Residents, including Janet and Carol, also helped.
The garden It is looking very nice. Marie, another Resident, likes to sit out there as she watches everyone work, she says it’s a nice place to sit.
Richard Sayer, Home Manager, commented, “We have improved one of the court yards by weeding, building planters, making hanging baskets, and potting plants we also have a water feature which was donated.”
