Lucy McShannon has just joined the team at HC One’s Augustus Court as their new wellbeing coordinator.
On Friday the 21st of August an interview was booked in for a new wellbeing co-ordinator to join the Garforth care home team.
The lady arrived and home manager, Jane Carr, sat out in the garden socially distancing. Jane had all the questions in front of her to ask Lucy, however as the two got chatting it was clear how Lucy’s enthusiasm took over and the conversation just flowed.
Lucy was very bubbly, friendly and was full of ideas and activities that she would like Residents to take part in.
Jane was so pleased to offer Lucy the job, who is set to start work on the 5th of September.
Lucy commented “I can’t wait to start work, I have got lots of ideas. I love to engage the community as much as possible too.”
All of the Colleagues are looking forward to her arrival, and can’t wait for all the exciting activities and events she has planned. Welcome to the team Lucy!
