Generous donation made to Spennymoor care homeHC-One’s Lothian House care home in Spennymoor received a generous donation from Gail Grainger, in honour of her mother, who sadly passed away in March.

Gail’s mother, Pat was a Resident at Lothian House for nine months before her passing, as a thank you to the team at the care home Gail donated to the Resident’s Comfort Fund along with some lovely gifts for everyone at Lothain House.

In memory of her beloved mother, Gail also donated a bench and elephant statue which are now proudly displayed in the home’s garden and provides a lovely space for Residents and team members to go and remember Pat.

Lothian House Home Manager, Jill Morton-Carr said: “We are all touched by Gail’s thoughtful donations to our care home and greatly appreciate her support and kindness.
