Giant barrel organ surprise at Lincolnshire care homeColleagues at Clarendon Hall residential and nursing care home, in Humberston, surprised Residents this afternoon with an unexpected visit from the Charity Barrel Organ who came to entertain everyone.

The group set up an organ at the end of the garden and Residents gathered around in the sun to listen to the foot-tapping tunes.

Even the Residents indoors could hear it through their windows and staff also commented that it really made their day special.

The variety of tunes played really brought back memories for Residents and they even had a sing-song too.

Stephanie, on the admin team, commented, “Its wonderful how you can hear it all round the building, it really cheers you up!”

One Resident, Robin S, said, “It brought back memories, I bet it cost a fortune to book that!”

Wellbeing Coordinator, Hayley, added, “What a magical afternoon!”
