Glasgow care home nurse passes OSCI examHC-One’s Northgate House care home in Balornock, Glasgow is celebrating the achievements of team member, Karuna Bersabal who recently passed her OSCI exam.

Karuna, aged just 24 years old left her family and home country to move Scotland with sponsorship from HC-One to become a nurse. The team and Residents at Northgate House gave Karuna a warm welcome and she quickly became a valued member of the community within the care home.

Everyone at Northgate House was delighted to hear that Karuna’s hard work has paid off when she passed her OSCI exam, she is currently awaiting her PIN number to continue her nursing career at HC-One.

To celebrate, the team arranged a beautiful bouquet of flowers which were presented to Karuna as part of the homes International Nurses Day celebrations.

Northgate House Home Manager, Kate Cairns said: “We are all very proud of Karuna’s achievements, she is an inspiration to us all and an integral part of the team at Northgate House.”
