Glasgow care home start garden visits for RelativesResidents at HC-One’s Wyndford Locks care home in Glasgow are safely being reunited with their family and friends as the home decides to allow garden visits.

Wyndford Locks care home have been lucky enough to invite Residents family and friends to visit them in their garden, as lockdown restrictions ease and COVID cases continue to fall.

Relatives have been encouraged to book in to see their loved ones and Colleagues have been more than happy to help arranging for Residents to safely access the garden and to finally see their loved ones again.

The garden visits have proven very popular amongst Relatives and for some they have been a long time coming, “It was so nice to finally get to see Mary after such a long time, but she has been well looked after,” said Relative Margaret Kilpatrick.

Margaret came to visit her sister, Mary, who Resides in the home and after not being able to see her sister for months, was over the moon when she came to visit, “Seeing my sister has made my day, thank you to all the staff who arranged this for us,” said Wyndford Locks Resident, Mary Walker.

Both Relatives and Residents are very happy that they can now meet up safely and Colleagues at Wyndford Locks are looking forward to inviting more of their Residents loved ones to the home in the near future.

Wyndford Locks Home Manager Terry Blackwood said: “It’s nice to see our Residents getting to see family.”
