Halloween party at Park HouseHC-One’s Park House, residential and residential nursing care home, in Guisborough threw their annual party to celebrate Halloween.

Colleagues and Residents threw a Halloween party on the 30th October. The Residents were delighted to have a fun filled afternoon, which they thoroughly enjoyed.

The day before the party Residents made pumpkin floral arrangements. They did this by scooping out the pumpkins, placing in an oasis and arranging the flowers into the oasis.

On the day of the party, the home was decorated. Additionally, the Goodfella’s duo brought some live entertainment to the home, they even wore all black to create a spooky atmosphere.

Residents played ‘pass the Halloween parcel’, and three lucky Residents won a treat. Also, the kitchen did a fantastic Halloween trolley with little ghost treats and pumpkin cupcakes.

It was a great party, and the Residents had lots of fun. All the Residents loved seeing the staff dressed up and the excellent entertainment.

One Resident, said, “It has been the best afternoon I have had since being at Park House, and there has been some good ones.”

Julie Woods, Care Home Manager, added, “Its lovely to know that the Residents had such a good time!”
