Hampshire Residents remembering Armistice DayResidents at Chandlers Ford Care Home wanted to create a collage of poppies to mark Armistice Day.

It was a popular event led by Wellbeing Coordinator Chantelle Peckham. Individual creations were added together to make a striking wall collage.

Residents liked the individual painting and looking at the finished wall creation. Agnes Fenwick commented that “It’s important that we remember the fallen soldiers as it’s an important part of our history.”

Home Manager Nancy Hicks, commented that it was lovely to see everyone smiling and enjoying the activity, “The finished collage looks really impressive.”
