Plenty has been going on this week at Newlands care home which offers residential and nursing care, with a special 56th anniversary celebration as well as a Resident surprise.
Michelle and Nina, both from the wellbeing team, have been setting up video calls between Residents in different rooms and on different units in the home and everyone has been over the moon, especially Vera, Marg and Mo. During the video calls there were lots of giggles. They loved the surprise and couldn’t stop thanking the Colleagues.
A very successful communication indeed.
Also, this week, Residents John and Ann McCarron celebrated their 56th wedding anniversary. They both sat together in the garden (pictured) with a little tea party organised by Colleagues.
The catering team did them a lovely afternoon tea with cakes,
