At residential and nursing care home, Newlands, in Stockport, Residents have been sowing seeds and getting green-fingered.
Seeds and new tubs have arrived and although Colleagues are still waiting for the greenhouse, a great session was held planting some flower seeds ready for the pots.
Residents including Mo, Marg, John, Geoff, Vera, Pauline and Cath, enjoyed picking which seeds they wanted to plant. There was a discussion around favourite flowers and colours and which flower will look the best and where it should sit in the garden.
Rebecca Murphy, Care Home Manager, joked, “What a mess, but great fun for everyone involved!”
