Hull care home receive Christmas donations for the local communityResidents and Colleagues at HC-One’s Kesteven Grange care home in Hull have been blown away by the generosity of the community as the receive some lovely Christmas donations.

Colleagues at Kesteven were specifically overwhelmed with the kindness and the hard work the local secondary school have done for the home, buying each Resident a gift for Christmas.

Students and staff members of Sirius North Academy visited the home and dropped off the gifts for Residents last week, who were over the moon, “we can't believe the number of bags that are here, it is just so lovely and we are so lucky,” said one Resident.

Each resident was kindly given a box of chocolates, a box of biscuits, a bottle of lemonade, a box of fruit jellies and a chocolate Santa.

Kesteven Grange Home Manager said: “Just wow! We are overwhelmed by the generosity of the community this year but this is going above and beyond.”
