Huntingdon care home enjoy an evening of karaokeResidents at HC-One’s The Red House care home in Huntingdon, flexed their vocal chords with an evening of karaoke.

The Red House Residents love to have a sing and will use any opportunity to do so. Colleagues thought it would be a good idea to dust down the karaoke machine and hook it up to the home’s TV in the main lounge and enjoy a karaoke evening.

Residents had a wonderful time singing all the olds classics along with six staff who assisted and joined in with them.

Halfway through, Colleagues made some nice hot tea for Residents to enjoy with a small bit of cake before getting back to singing. Some Residents really got into it and were up out of their chairs dancing along.

Chris Harris, wellbeing coordinator said: “It was a really nice afternoon for everyone, especially seeing some Residents really come alive and have a nice time.”

Located in the small market town of Ramsey in Cambridgeshire, The Red House is a friendly care home with 60 beds, offering residential, nursing, residential dementia and nursing dementia care.
