Huntingdon care home Residents enjoy a snow dayResidents have spent their day in a winter wonderland today at HC-One’s Manor House care home in Upwood, Ramsey.

When a Resident suggested going outside to enjoy the snow in person, everyone thought it was a phenomenal idea.

Some Residents and Colleagues wrapped up warm in their coats, scarves and blankets and headed outside to brave the chill and enjoy some time in the snowfall. Others watched through the window, giggling at the group as they stayed warm and cosy inside.

One Resident commented: “It was a nice change and something different that we haven’t been able to do previously.”

The pleasant snowfall made a nice change to the heavy rainfall that Ramsey has been seeing recently and Residents welcomed their new winter wonderland.

Manor House Home Manager, Bheki Perelion, commented: “We all really enjoyed this activity. We don’t get snow very often so it was nice to see.”
