The staff at Claremont
care home in Ayr which offers nursing and nursing memory care for those living with dementia, decided it would be great fun to host an Italian day with the main event involving making their own pizzas.
The kitchen provided Residents with bases and toppings and everyone got creative and made their perfect pizzas, as well as enjoying snacks, Prosecco and listening to Dean Martin which brought lots of laugher and conversations.
The room was decorated with Italian colours with balloons and napkins.
One Resident said, “This has been a lot of fun”.
Colleague Oliver Fynn-Brand commented, "The Residents have really enjoyed themselves and we'll look into doing this regularly with different themes".
