Resident Maureen at HC One’s Aberford care home has enjoyed a lovely makeover today.
Maureen has lived at the Leeds care home for the last year and always likes to look smart in her appearance.
One day she decided that she hadn't worn make up in a while so asked the staff if they would get her some.
She put together a list of the things she needed and one of the care staff went shopping for her.
Maureen was so excited about her new purchases and hid herself away in her room whilst she applied it.
When she was finished, she called all the staff in to see and they were amazed by the results. She looked like a film star.
