Residents and team members at HC-One’s
Augustus Court care home in Garforth, Leeds enjoyed an outdoor performance by Nigel Rae, the first entertainer the home have welcomed since the start of the covid-19 pandemic.
Nigel Rae is an acoustic guitarist who had previously played at the home. Many of the Residents attended the performance, with some sitting outside in the sunshine or indoors in the lounge area.
Residents enjoyed dancing and singing along to the songs, sparking some wonderful memories. The Residents also enjoyed afternoon drinks along with a slice of millionaire’s shortbread made by the catering team.
Augustus Court Home Manager, Julia Davison said; “What a fantastic afternoon for everyone, it has been a long time coming and so nice to see the Residents enjoying themselves."
