A Resident at HC-One’s Tower Bridge care home in Southwark, which offers, residential, nursing and dementia care services, celebrated their 65th birthday this April.
Tower Bridge Resident Tejan Sesay turned 65 on 14th April and celebrated his birthday was a visit from his family, balloons, cakes and more.
The day before his birthday, Colleagues at the home put up banners, balloons and posters around the home and in Tejan’s room to prepare for the big day. When awoke on his birthday, he was surprised to see all of the birthday banners in his room and throughout the home, which he loved.
Tejan was then visited by his family who brought many gifts, treats and cards for him to open with them as then sung ‘Happy Birthday’.
The family also brought in a lovely ‘Thank you’ hamper for all the staff, for their support in Tejan’s care and wellbeing, which was well received by Colleagues.
Rita Aujla, Tower Bridge Home Manager said: “It was so nice and rewarding to see how happy Tejan was. His smile said a thousand words.”
