Today was Valentine’s Day and a special celebration for the Residents at HC-One’s Stadium Court care home.
While celebrating all things love, Resident Vincent ‘Vince’ Owen shared with Colleagues that he had sent a couple of cards previously but had never received one back!
Colleagues quickly sorted this for him and at the grand age of 89, Vince had is first valentine card.
Vince was over the moon.
He started writing to fellow Resident Beryle, living on a different house, and Colleagues think that this may blossom into a beautiful friendship.
Kitchen Colleague, Emma Cotton, made some amazing valentine cakes that looked like a bouquet of flowers (see pictured). Residents loved them and said they were too nice to eat!
