Marie Curie foundation deliver Easter gifts to Bingham care homeResidents at HC-One’s Beauvale care home in Bingham were treated to a lovely surprise this Easter as a representative from the foundation came to visit in their famous tuk tuk.
 
Beauvale Colleague, Lyndsey Lovegrove advertised for donations for the Residents this Easter and Marie Curie got back in touch straight away.
 
The following week, on Easter weekend, Marie Curie came through with the cakes and delivered them in their famous tuk tuk.
 
Marie Curie is a registered charitable organisation in the United Kingdom which provides care and support to people with terminal illnesses and their families. It was established in 1948, the same year as the National Health Service.
 
Home Manager at Beauvale, Elizabeth Wood said: “It was great see the tuk tuk turn up in the car park. It was wonderful to have these treats delivered for our Residents this Easter.”
