It has been another very busy month at HC-One’s Aberpennar Court residential and nursing care home, with flower power arts and crafts as well as Resident bingo!
Today, Residents really enjoyed a bingo morning, where they play for a line and then for a full house. The tension certainly builds when there’s only one number to go! There are always lots of prizes up for grabs, which the Residents really enjoy.
Chatting with fellow Residents really does make it a wonderful activity for all.
Also, this month, a ‘Flower Power’ arts and crafts session took place. Residents really enjoyed making floral designs out of paper cupcake cases, ribbons, pompoms, buttons and bows.
Each Resident created an individual design and they were thrilled with the results and proudly displayed them in their rooms.
There was also some background 1970s music to fit the theme, including Abba songs.
Home Manager, Alison Durbidge, said, “Everyone had a great morning chatting, singing and creating some beautiful designs.”
