Mossdale Residence, residential and nursing care home, in York, celebrated Diwali.
Residents had so much fun making Diwali crafts.
One activity which the Residents enjoyed was origami. Residents used tissue paper to make waterlily tealight holders especially for the Diwali celebrations. The decorations were placed in the lounges for all the Residents to admire.
The Residents loved all the beautiful, bright colours.
One Resident, added, “The origami was very fiddly, but they looked lovely.”
Michelle Pepworth, Care Home Manager, added, “The decorations looked really effective.”
