Mossley home joins in with International Dance DayEveryone at Sandon residential and residential memory care home celebrated International Dance Day with an afternoon tea dance today.

Residents enjoyed listening to music from around the world and dressing up with different hats and props. Jean Ogden, pictured, wore a Mexican hat whilst playing the guitar!

There was some ballroom dancing and for some Residents it brought back many memories of their days spent at the dance halls.

The tables displayed a selection of coconut cake, cupcakes and biscuits which were served on cake stands, along with tea or coffee served in the finest bone china.

Jean commented, " I've had such a good time! It's been lovely to see everyone enjoying themselves and dancing."

Lynne Campbell, Care Home Manager, remarked, “We had a wonderful day celebrating International Dance Day, there were lots of smiles and enjoyment.”
