On Sunday 14th March, Residents at HC-One’s Milliner House care home in Luton celebrated Mother’s Day with a reminisce, presents and cards.
Residents started off the day by opening cards they had received from their sons, daughters, grandchildren and Colleagues at the home. The cards were full of lovely messages, kind words and lots of love went into making and sending them.
Milliner Resident, Patricia, has seven children, who she raised on her own. Patricia has been absolutely spoiled today by her children, who loved and care for her dearly and have sent plenty of flowers, cards and gifts to the home for her to open.
Milliner House Home Manager, Kathryn Elizabeth Sygrove said: “In a time where families cannot be together we will be here to try and fill a bit of that gap in whatever way we can.”
