Nelson Residents have Welsh fun for St David's DayThe Residents of Treharris based care home, Trafalgar Park, had a day full of Welsh-themed activities and treats to celebrate St David's Day.

The home was decorated in Welsh colours, dragons, leeks and daffodils, putting a smile on everyone's face.

After a traditional Welsh breakfast, Residents put on their creative hats and made some salt dough daffodils, which made an impressive display.

There was a lot of laughter at some of the answers on the Welsh quiz, and the home rang out with the sound of male voice choirs during an afternoon tea of Welsh cakes.

Kane Thomas, Home Manager, commented, “It was great to see the Residents and team bring the Welsh spirit into the home - we had such an enjoyable day.”
