New darts board is a bullseye hit with Birmingham care home ResidentsThe Residents of HC-One’s Hodge Hill Grange care home in Hodge Hill, West Midlands are thrilled to have received a brand-new real dart board.

The home previously had a magnetic version that unfortunately didn’t hold up and a lot of Residents were gradually losing patience with it.

A search went out to find a suitable darts board and eventually a Wellbeing Coordinator’s son kindly donated one to the Residents.

One Resident commented: “I’ll have to get my Daughter to bring my darts in now. This is fantastic!”

The activity has undergone the necessary risk assessments to ensure that all Residents can safely enjoy the sport. Now everyone is looking forward to a night down at the ‘Wellbeing Inn’.

A Hodge Hill Grange Colleague said: “It’s so good to be able to fulfil Residents’ requests. It will have a real positive impact on their wellbeing.”
