Norman Wisdom movie night at Hodge Hill GrangeToday at Hodge Hill Grange in Birmingham, which offers residential, nursing and residential dementia care, Residents enjoyed a movie night with a hot chocolate.

Sarah, the Wellbeing Coordinator at Hodge Hill put on a classic Norman Wisdom movie for the Residents to enjoy. She did say how the Residents were chatting away ten to the dozen, so a lot of the film actually got missed! But there was so much laughter in the room you would have been forgiven in thinking that Norman was there in person!

Ray, a new Resident at Hodge Hill has been quite shy since his arrival, but Sarah said it was lovely to see him come out of his shell and make new friends. Ray said, “It’s been a nice day, I think I enjoyed the company more than the film though”.

Keith, another Resident in attendance enjoyed the film and said, “I love Norman Wisdom, he was such a funny guy”. Rita however, said she enjoyed the hot chocolate the most and was very happy to get to know Ray.

Karen, the Home Manager also enjoyed seeing all of the Residents together and said “It was lovely to see them all sat together and chatting away about memories of Norman Wisdom. The hot chocolate was delicious!”.
