Nottinghamshire Residents start HC-One gardening competitionResidents at Mansfield residential, nursing and memory care home, Berry Hill Park, have been preparing for the annual HC-One gardening competition which is due to take place in September.

Last year, Berry Hill won a prize for the ‘Best Pot’ and this year, they are hoping to enter in all four categories, including ‘Best Outdoor Visiting Area’.

Wellbeing Coordinators Claire, Kristina and Lindsey have been hard at work and are pleased they are grateful to have such a large garden with “More colour than ever this year,” commented Claire.

Residents have been having some lovely parties in the garden underneath the shade of the trees.

Kathleen Saville, who is a Resident at Berry Hill, commented, “It’s everything to be able to look out of the window and see a lovely, tidy garden.”

Claire added, “Our garden continues to be vital for the wellbeing of our Residents.”
