Oldbury care home Residents enjoy baking funResidents and Colleagues at HC-One’s Dingle Meadow Care Home in Oldbury enjoyed an afternoon of baking this week as they took part in making jam tarts together.

Each Resident took on their own role in the activity, with some rolling out the pastry, and others filling the cases with jam. Raspberry and Apricot jams were used as these are the most favoured flavours in the home.

Colleagues helped to sprinkle icing sugar onto the tarts before placing them in the oven.

Everyone was delighted with the outcome as they enjoyed them with a cup of tea. One Resident even remarked: “I love the taste of these jam tarts, they’re delicious!”

Located in a peaceful residential area in Oldbury, in the heart of the Black Country, Dingle Meadow is a purpose-built care home with 46 beds, offering residential and residential dementia care.
