Residents and Colleagues at HC-One’s Bridgend care home, Glanffrwd, are showing their compassion and love to everyone who has lost their lives due to Covid-19 over the last year.
All communities have put yellow hearts in their windows along with daffodils too. Colleagues have also chosen to wear yellow to remember the loved ones they have lost in Glanffrwd. Residents made the heart in the window out of their own hand prints (see picture).
One Resident described the activity as, “Very thoughtful.”
Home Manager, Joan Thomas, commented, “We will never forget about the ones we have lost due to Covid-19. What a beautiful thing to do and the window is looking beautiful too.”
