Personal touch with a bedroom renovation for Dovedale ResidentResident Margaret is new to Dovedale Court nursing and residential dementia care home, in Wednesbury, and has found the transition into her new life living within a care home difficult, similar to many Residents. But, together with Colleagues David Edwards and Dawn Wilkes, Margaret has decided to transform her bedroom to make it homelier and more personal to her. 

She not loves her new room and is very happy and looking forward to the future, “Dave painted my room and he has done a lovely job. My room feels homelier, I love it and can relax much better.”

“My new furniture is lovely, Dave has done an amazing job and Dawn has helped me sort all my new stuff out.”

Dawn Allen, Care Home Manager, commented, “We always try and create personal touches wherever we can to make our Residents feel as at home as possible and Margaret is very happy.”
