Photographer and Care Assistant has work displayed in Castletown care homeA Colleague at HC-One’s Northview Lodge care home in Castletown, who is also an established photographer, has had his photography work displayed throughout the care home he works in.

Northview Lodge Care Assistant, Josh Berwick is an established photographer who takes landscapes of the North East. Josh's work is displayed throughout the home in the hallways, lounges and dining rooms. The Residents picked the pieces that they liked and where they would like to put them.

Northview Lodge Residents like to walk around the building, on both floors, to see Josh’s amazing photography. Residents are familiar with the landscapes Josh takes pictures of as these are areas of the North East that they grew up in.

One Northview Lodge Resident said: “There lovely and I’ve been busy looking at them. I would love to have one of the pictures in my room.”

Several Residents even have Josh's artwork in their bedrooms, and several staff have his work in their homes.

Northview Lodge Home Manager, Patrick Morley said: “This is a fantastic example of how the Northview Lodge team tap into everyone’s skills and make the home self-sufficient. Well done Josh.”
