Residents at HC-One’s Dingle Meadow Care Home in Oldbury, enjoyed a creative afternoon as they took part in a pizza-making activity.
After everyone decided which toppings they would like to use, they each decorated their pizzas and prepared them for the oven. Colleagues in the kitchen then cooked the pizzas for Residents’ dinner.
Some Residents were especially delighted to taste the pizzas as they had never tasted the delicacy before.
One Resident remarked: “This is a lovely idea for dinner time, it’s been a long time since I took part in making my dinner and I’ve really enjoyed it.”
Located in a peaceful residential area in Oldbury, in the heart of the Black Country, Dingle Meadow is a purpose-built care home with 46 beds, offering residential and residential dementia care.
