Colleagues and Residents at HC One’s Alexandra care home created poppies to pay tribute on Remembrance Day.
Residents at the Nottingham care home have thoroughly enjoyed today’s crafts, and have all had conversations around memories of the war and the impact this had on the world.
A craft session about lest we forget has made the lounges very colourful and encouraged other Residents to take part who wouldn’t usually.
Resident Mr Owen was proudly talking about his father’s war medals and began marching proudly for his Dad.
It was lovely for Colleagues to see Residents discussing something so close to their hearts, it was a wonderful and meaningful afternoon.
