One Resident, who lives at HC-One’s
Bankhouse residential, residential dementia, nursing and nursing dementia care home, in Lancashire, celebrated her 105th birthday in style on 17th November.
Mollie, pictured, enjoyed having her hair styled in the morning and dressed in her party clothes after lunch. She wore her new sparkle top which her niece had bought as a present.
The room was decorated with banners and balloons. Colleagues joined Mollie for a little party in the afternoon with presents, flowers and of course the obligatory glass of prosecco!
She was delighted to receive the birthday card from Her Royal Highness The Queen and was thrilled with all her presents and said, “Oh, how lovely, everyone is so kind!”
Mollie added, “I can`t believe I am 105 years old!”
Janet Barnes , Care Home Manager, remarked, “It was great to see Mollie in such good spirits, she blew her candles out in one go on her birthday cake and had lots of fun.”
