Colleagues at Merseyside care home, John Joseph Powell, have been raising donations of goods and Christmas treats for the charity Age UK.
The collection, which is being organised by Steph Molden, Home Manager, and is to be donated to those over the age of 65, in the local community, who aren’t with loved ones or in a care placement this year.
Everyone is delighted that Colleagues have contributed so much to date, in order to support those who may be alone and struggling at this time of year.
Steph, remarked, “Making this donation to those over 65, in the local community, makes the gesture even more special as we appreciate that some people in the community are alone and struggling this time of year. I am delighted my staff have recognised this and have been so happy to help.”
