Primrose House pumpkin competitionWhat started out as pumping carving at HC-One’s Primrose House residential memory care and nursing memory care home, in Crewe, ended up turning into a competition with Residents and Colleagues.

The groups ended up carving out some brilliant pumpkins.  The Residents had great fun scooping the middles out and interacting with the staff.

Everyone who saw the pumpkins has commented on how good they look.

The Residents liked getting their hands in the pumpkins and emptying the middles out.

Alison Brown, Home Manager, said "I cannot believe how this activity has brought the staff and Residents together.  The home feels like it is buzzing!”
