Today at
Warrens Hall in Tividale which provides nursing care, one Resident had a day trip out to his favourite pub.
Ronald, a Resident at Warrens Hall had told the Wellbeing staff that his favourite pub was quite close by. Colleagues then arrange for a day trip out for Ronald, who used to visit ‘The Wonder’ when he was younger with his friends and family.
Michelle and Margaret, Wellbeing Coordinators at Warrens Hall, arranged for taxis to pick them up and bring them back. Speaking afterwards, Ronald praised the staff for setting this up for him. He went on to say, “I’ve had a wonderful time, it was lovely to be out at the pub today”. Ronald said he loved the whole experience, it brought back so many fond memories and it had made him happy.
Fabiana, the Home Manager said afterwards “Delivering person centred care is at the heart of Warrens Hall and it was lovely to see Ronald so happy”.
