Christmas Day at Daneside Mews care home, in Northwich was fantastic and full of festivities for all.
Residents were supported to get up and into their dressing gowns and slippers and into the lounge, where Colleagues had prepared cups of tea and all the gifts were placed under the Christmas tree.
The excitement was evident in the faces of Colleagues and Residents as they sat around and wished each other a ‘Merry Christmas’ and Colleagues handed out the gifts that had been brought in by friends and families.
Residents enjoyed the excitement of the day and the Christmas music, with comments such as, “Christmas is the best time of the year” and, “I can’t wait for the Christmas dinner!”
Home Manager, Nicola Blackwood, remarked, “Colleagues here go above and beyond to make every day special, this Christmas has been extra special.”
