Quiz afternoon at Tameside care homeAt Hyde nursing and nursing memory care home, in Greater Manchester, some new quizzes have really grabbed the attention of many Residents.

The wellbeing Colleagues at the home say that their main goal is to promote Residents’ wellbeing and keep them stimulated as much as possible. So, this week Wellbeing Coordinator Adam set out on his new mission to create extra mind stimulating materials to enhance the standards of his memory activities.

As part of his new initiative, Adam plans on bringing out two quizzes a week. This week’s themes were dog breeds and flowers. These were an amazing hit with the Residents at Hyde because of the format and the bright colours.

After the quizzes, some Residents enjoyed a session of ‘Armchair Aerobics’ with both Adam and Colleague Amy, which is always a good time at Hyde.

Evelyn, who is a Resident, commented, “I really like dogs, I used to have one.”

Fellow Resident Dorothy added, “This has made me very, very happy. Thank you very much.”

Adam said, “Residents really enjoyed the quiz and seeing the pictures of flowers and the dogs.”
