Redcar care home Residents enjoy a mystery trip out to the beachResidents at HC-One’s Roseberry Court in Redcar recently enjoyed a change in their wellbeing activities as they finally enjoyed a trip out in the home’s minibus.

On November 3rd, Residents and Colleagues had a lovely surprise trip out in the home’s mini bus. The sun was out and it felt like a summer’s day, just right for a lovely ride out along Redcar’s beautiful sea front, taking in all the lovely scenery and seeing part of their local history in the Regent Cinema being knocked down, to be replaced with a new state of the art venue.

Roseberry Resident, Mary commented: “Well that’s sad seeing the cinema being demolished, lots of great memories in that building.”

Colleagues parked up by the beach and watched the ships on the horizon, the birds and seagulls flying around, people walking their dogs along the beach and the waves crashing down on the sand.

Resident Elenore said: “Just look at that scenery it feels so peaceful, I have had a perfect day today.”

Roseberry Court Home Manager, Joe Presho said: “Residents today loved their trip out in the bus along the seaside, Residents were smiling and chatting about their lovely experience.”
